Adjustable Gooseneck Antenna for VHF/UHF Handheld Radios

The ABBREE AR-188 combines a bendable gooseneck design with 144/430MHz dual-band operation and an SMA-Female connector. Choose the AR-188 V1 or V2 version to suit your handheld radio setup.

When preparing your radio for a camping trip or outdoor outing, adjust the antenna's shape and angle to suit your carrying position. The gooseneck offers flexibility while retaining some rigidity, helping you position the antenna without relying on a fixed straight profile.

Key Features

Adjustable gooseneck: Bend and position the antenna as needed without forcing sharp bends or stressing the radio connector.
Dual-band design: Listed operating frequencies of 144MHz and 430MHz.
SMA-Female connector: For radios with a matching antenna connection and sufficient clearance around the antenna base.
Two versions: Select AR-188 V1 or AR-188 V2 before ordering.

Version and Specification Guide

Brand and model: ABBREE AR-188
Frequency: 144/430MHz
Connector: SMA-Female
AR-188 V1 listed length: Approximately 21.2cm
AR-188 V2: Longer version; confirm the exact length before ordering

The previous specifications give inconsistent metric and inch measurements for V2. They also list gain as 2.15/3.2dB without clearly identifying the band or version for each value. Confirm these details if exact dimensions or gain are important to your setup.

Compatibility Check

The original listing names Baofeng UV-5R Mini, UV-5RH, the 21 PRO model and Quansheng UV-K5. Verify your exact radio model, connector type, antenna-base clearance and operating frequency before purchase. A model name alone does not guarantee fit across every version.

Before Use

This listing is for the selected antenna version, not a radio. Antenna performance depends on the radio, frequency, antenna position, terrain and surrounding obstructions. No fixed communication range or guaranteed signal improvement is promised. Adjust the gooseneck carefully and avoid using the antenna as a carrying handle.
